Casting/Rigging Lessons
Private lessons/classes that can take place on land or water with little or no opportunity to catch fish but focus on fly fishing setup/gear.

Fly Fishing Lessons on the Water
Learn to fly fish classes / lessons are geared toward actually catching, fighting, and landing a fish.

*We can happily accommodate more than four anglers ice fishing in western Colorado but a second guide is required at an additional cost. Pricing for 5+ anglers upon request.
WE PROVIDE: heater, augers(s), fish finders, rods/reels, all tackle, bait, chairs, and ice hut(s).
YOU PROVIDE: boots, snack/lunch, sunscreen, warm layers, sunglasses, and a Colorado state fishing license.
Lunch can be provided at an additional cost.
Transportation is not included to and from the water. We offer guided ice fishing on the Grand Mesa and Vega Reservoir. Your guide will meet you at the designated boat ramp and walk you to the tent/shelter. Each guide can take up to four anglers and we will call in advance to confirm the details of your trip. Larger parties can be accommodated. Parties of 5 or more people will require a second guide and guide fee.
If you’re visiting Colorado to ski or snowboard you’re already set with your ski/snowboarding clothes and ice fishing makes for a great rest day! Ice fishing is an outdoor activity that’s fun with family or friends and a memorable winter experience. Let’s go catch some fish on the ice!
If you are planning a guided ice fishing trip, here are some clothing suggestions:
(Although you’ll be ice fishing, the temperature inside the shelter is heated and is very comfortable. It can sometimes get very warm so we suggest dressing in layers!)
